Our experienced Head teacher and her supportive senior leadership team are looking for an Administration & Attendance Assistant to join the office team at Holland Junior School. This role is term time only, working 23 hours per week over four mornings between 08:15-14:00, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday.
Key responsibilities:
- Improve levels of attendance for all students.
- Promote a positive attendance and punctuality culture at The Pioneer Academy.
- Assist the school to reach its attendance targets.
- Provide a reception service for all callers to the school.
- Provide general administrative support.
- Create and maintain accurate and confidential records, and comply with data protection laws.
Safeguarding & Vetting:
Offers employment subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure and other employment checks. An Enhanced DBS certificate will be required on provisional offer, including a check of the Children’s Barred List. Further vetting checks, in line with the requirements of Keeping children safe in education 2025, will be completed following a provisional offer of appointment. Where applicable, if an applicant with a provisional offer of employment has lived and/or worked outside the UK, they will be required to obtain a Certificate of Good Conduct.
