Holland House Surgery is seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our friendly clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced phlebotomist who enjoys working in a patient-focused primary care environment and being part of a supportive multidisciplinary team. Our practice provides high-quality primary care services to our local community. Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will carry out venepuncture procedures on patients of all ages in line with current clinical guidelines.
- Duties include accurately labeling and processing samples, maintaining infection control standards, providing reassurance to patients, and ensuring clinical rooms and equipment are prepared and maintained.
- You will also be expected to manage workload efficiently, maintain clear and accurate records, and work collaboratively with clinicians and administrative staff.

Qualifications
- Minimum of a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care, or equivalent qualification or experience
- Relevant qualification and clinical knowledge and skills in venepuncture
Experience
- Experience of working in a healthcare setting, ideally within primary care
- Ability to record accurate clinical notes
- Consistently confidential, compassionate and respectful approach, placing a high value on the dignity of patients, relatives, carers and colleagues
- Ability to communicate effectively, and to understand the needs of the patient
- Strength in problem-solving, with the ability to process information accurately and effectively, interpreting data as required
- Flexibility and an adaptable approach
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
