The Workforce Planning Manager plays a pivotal role in forecasting, planning, and optimizing staffing requirements to meet business objectives. Reporting to the Head of Workforce Planning, this role collaborates closely with the Activity Manager, Hours Allocation Manager, and Salary Allocation Manager to ensure seamless alignment of workforce strategies with operational, budgetary, and activity-based needs
The Role:
- Analyze workload trends, seasonality, and business forecasts to project staffing requirements.
- Integrate data inputs from the Activity Manager to ensure forecasts reflect actual and planned business activities.
- Design workforce plans that align with operational goals and budgetary constraints, in partnership with the Hours Allocation Manager and Salary Allocation Manager.
- Use data analytics to monitor turnover, productivity, and staffing patterns, providing insights to the team for proactive adjustments.
- Collaborate with the Salary Allocation Manager to accurately forecast staffing costs and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Work closely with the Activity Manager, Hours Allocation Manager, and Salary Allocation Manager to ensure workforce strategies are fully integrated and aligned with business needs.
- Partner with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to maintain alignment between workforce plans and broader organizational goals.
- Work with the Hours Allocation Manager to balance labour supply and demand, ensuring efficient and effective staffing schedules.
The Person:
- Proven experience in workforce planning, HR, or operations management.
- Demonstrated success in working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders to achieve business goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in workforce planning tools and data analytics platforms.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work alongside key functional managers.
- Deep understanding of labor laws and compliance requirements.
