About Product at Holland & Barrett
We\’re looking for someone who has experience working with internal systems and users, or B2B experience and will join our dynamic team on a 12-month full-time contract.. You\’ll be conducting research for our Firm Foundations product team, responsible for building and maintaining the technology our colleagues and suppliers use to interact with Holland & Barrett.

What you\’ll be doing:
- Plan and execute end-to-end user research projects for internal digital tools used by our colleagues in commercial, supply chain and distribution centre areas, including planning, recruiting, conducting studies, analyzing data, and delivering actionable insights that contributes to business outcomes.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and business stakeholders to define research goals and translate them into research plans.
- Apply a variety of research methods, such as interviews, surveys, usability tests, field studies, and ethnographic research, to uncover user needs and pain points, build a holistic understanding of the internal tool ecosystem.
- You\’ll be influential in your team, increasing customer centricity and building foundational knowledge of users for teams with previously limited exposure to user research.
- Analyse qualitative and quantitative research data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that inform design and product improvements.
- Present research findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams and senior management, effectively communicating complex ideas and insights in a clear and concise manner.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops to leverage your insights and bring the user\’s voice to the heart of the product development process.
- Join a team of 4 passionate researchers working on the customer experience, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the UX research and design team. We have offsites every quarter to get together as a team and build on our research and design strategy for the year ahead.
Skills and experience required for this role:
- You\’re a proactive and confident collaborator; you can easily engage with senior stakeholders, and you\’re not fazed by complex challenges including navigating the realities of internal tools and their ecosystems.
- You\’re comfortable operating independently and you\’re excited to hit the ground running. You\’re used to navigating a complex product environment.
- You\’ve got a strong portfolio of well crafted, impactful research work (qualitative and quantitative skills) preferably within ecommerce, you can clearly speak to the impact your past research has had.
- You\’re a passionate communicator, you approach communicating your research with creativity and a focus on the end user\’s needs, and how they relate and contribute to business outcomes, objectives or strategic focus.
- You can handle multiple projects and alongside other research operations roles, such as creating a recruitment strategy for internal users.
- Ideally you have previous experience with B2B / internal tools and working closely with internal users. Building bridges and connections between product teams and internal users will be your day to day.
