Together with our Data Engineering and Data Science colleagues, we make data a strategic lever to achieve H&B\\\’s goals. As Analytics Manager in the Omnichannel Analytics team, you will lead the Product analytics vertical—covering Website, Mobile App & retail apps performance. You\\\’ll manage a team of analysts, set the direction for how data is used across product & tech, and partner closely with product & engineering managers in the product organisation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the analytics roadmap for product analytics across the website, mobile app, and in-store digital platforms.
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of mid and senior-level product analysts, with a focus on quality, impact, and career growth.
- Review and elevate analysts\\\’ work, ensuring insights are robust, actionable, and aligned with business goals.
- Partner with Product, Tech, UX, and Marketing to shape priorities and maximise the impact of data-driven decisions.
- Define and track success metrics for product features, user journeys, and releases across digital touchpoints.
- Lead analytics for squads focused on core digital journeys, enabling experimentation, feature optimisation, and UX improvements.
- Oversee delivery of decision-support tools and dashboards in Metabase for A/B testing, UX/UI evaluation, and performance monitoring.
- Own planning and prioritisation across analytics workstreams, coordinating closely with BI and Data Engineering.
- Uphold high standards for analytics output—focusing on clarity, documentation, scalability, and reproducibility.
- Embed insights into key product and tech forums, influencing strategic direction and performance outcomes.
- Leverage a modern data stack including Redshift, BigQuery, Matillion, and Retool to drive efficiency and depth in analytics.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop analytics teams, fostering a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and high-impact delivery.
- Embedded analytics: Excels in embedding analysts within product teams, enabling close stakeholder collaboration and driving continuous improvement through data-led decision-making.
- Digital product insight: Strong grasp of ecommerce KPIs, journey health, experimentation frameworks, and UX optimisation.
- Stakeholder influence: Trusted partner to Heads of Product, Product Managers, and Engineering Managers skilled at shaping roadmaps with data.
- Ops; able to translate business needs into analytical strategy.
- Delivery ownership: Comfortable managing multiple workstreams, aligning resources, and delivering through others.
- Technical understanding: Strong SQL fluency and experience overseeing analytics products built in Metabase or equivalent BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Communication: Able to distil complex analyses into business-relevant insights and present them credibly across all levels, from squads to exec forums.
- Visualisation: Builds well-structured dashboards in Metabase or similar tools that support ongoing decision-making.
- Team contribution: Mentors peers, drives best practice adoption, and contributes to analytics capability development.
- Collaboration: Works across functions with BI, Supply, Product, and Data teams to land scalable data solutions.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience: You have a degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or Engineering, and 6+ years of experience in analytics—at least 2-4 years in a team management or senior stakeholder-facing role, ideally in a product operations context.
- Work on the inside of one of Europe\\\’s biggest health & wellness transformations. Lead a high-performing analytics function that powers product development, customer journeys, and digital experience across Holland & Barrett\\\’s digital platforms.
