The Role: As a People Services Assistant, you'll be the first point of contact for our People Operations team – helping colleagues and managers navigate key moments in their journey with us.
- Act as the first point of contact for People queries, offering clear and supportive guidance
- Manage HR tickets, calls and live chat across starters, changes and leavers
- Process key lifecycle activities including onboarding, internal moves, parental leave and flexible working
- Maintain accurate and compliant colleague records in line with GDPR
- Manage workload through Zendesk, prioritising to meet service levels
- Spot risks early and elevate complex or sensitive cases appropriately
- Work closely with teams across HR, including Employee Relations and Resourcing
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying trends and recurring queries
The Person: Experience in an HR or People Services environment is a must.
- A strong understanding of HR processes and compliance, including Right to Work and GDPR
- Confidence handling queries and explaining things clearly and simply
- Great attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at pace
- A solution-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving
- Comfort using digital tools and systems to manage queries and data
