At Holland & Barrett, we are growing our international business and bringing our wellness products to more people, in more markets. That means navigating different regulations, requirements and ways of working every day. We are looking for an International Trade Compliance Lead to help us do that well — keeping our products moving compliantly while supporting our commercial teams to make the right decisions. This is a hands-on role where you will learn, build your expertise and become a go-to person for trade and compliance questions across the business. You do not need to know everything from day one — but you will be curious, proactive and confident finding the right answers.
The Role
- Support international trade and export compliance across our product range
- Ensure products are correctly classified and meet import/export requirements
- Work closely with Category, Supply Chain and Commercial teams to answer day-to-day trade and compliance queries
- Help teams understand requirements around customs, documentation, labelling and market access
- Liaise with customs authorities, agents, freight forwarders and external partners
- Maintain accurate product documentation, certifications and compliance records
- Identify potential risks early and support practical solutions
- Share knowledge with colleagues and help build capability across the business
The Person
- Experience in international trade, customs, compliance or supply chain
- A solid foundation in trade or compliance, with the confidence to navigate requirements and find the right solutions
- Understanding of areas such as Incoterms, commodity codes, documentation or import/export processes
- Confidence working with different teams and explaining complex topics in a clear, practical way
- A proactive mindset — comfortable taking ownership and following through to resolution
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
