Location & working arrangement: London, UK (with presence in Nuneaton and occasionally in other H&B locations). Full-time. We offer hybrid working, with an expectation that you'll be in one of our H&B offices 2–3 days per week for collaboration, connection and key moments.

As Head of HR – Tech & Digital, you'll play a critical role in shaping the colleague experience for around 600 colleagues across our Tech and Digital teams. You'll partner with senior leaders to build capability, strengthen culture and help our teams perform at their best — all while creating an environment where people feel connected, supported and able to grow. This is a high-impact role where your work will directly enable business performance and help us become an even better place to work.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Partner with senior Tech and Digital leaders to shape and deliver a people strategy aligned to our transformation and growth.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the President of Digital Transformation, Chief Digital Officer and leadership teams, influencing decisions and direction.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing HR Business Partner team, driving consistent, commercial and people-focused outcomes.
  • Champion colleague experience and engagement, ensuring every voice is heard and acted on.
  • Build a high-performance culture with clear expectations, strong leadership and ongoing development.
  • Lead organisational design and workforce planning to support transformation and future capability needs.
  • Oversee complex employee relations activity, ensuring fair, consistent and values-led outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement across people processes, simplifying where possible and enhancing the colleague experience.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Strong experience leading HR strategy in a fast-paced, evolving environment and transformation.
  • Proven ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing HR teams.
  • A track record of delivering engagement, culture and transformation initiatives at scale.
  • Confidence working across organisational design, change and workforce planning.
  • A balanced approach — combining commercial thinking with care for colleague experience.
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills, with a natural ability to build trust.
  • Curiosity and adaptability, with the ability to lead through ambiguity.
