What You\’ll Be Doing:

  • Partner closely with Finance and Legal leaders to align people strategies with business priorities, guiding workforce planning, capability building, and cultural transformation.
  • Coach senior stakeholders to drive engagement, performance, and succession through meaningful conversations and targeted development plans.
  • Activate internal career pathways and succession plans to nurture and retain key talent across critical talent pools.
  • Collaborate with Resourcing, L&D, and DE&I teams to embed talent and performance programmes that make a measurable difference.
  • Support the rollout of people technology, develop talent KPIs, and use insights to inform decision-making and action planning.

Location & Ways of Working:

This is a hybrid role based in Nuneaton, with a minimum of 2 days a week in our head office and flexibility to work remotely the rest of the time.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven HR Business Partnering or talent experience within a mid-to-large matrixed organisation.
  • A strong grasp of performance management, succession planning, and internal mobility practices.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and navigating change with resilience and influence.
  • Experience in designing and delivering strategic people initiatives that align to organisational goals.
  • A data-savvy mindset, with familiarity using platforms like Workday or similar HRIS tools.
  • Experience working in a retail or similarly dynamic, matrixed business is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to Finance and/or Legal functions is desirable but not essential.
