We are looking for a Strategy Manager to join our Strategy & Partnerships team and help define, evolve and deliver Holland & Barrett's strategic ambitions. You will work closely with our Group Strategy Director, members of the Senior Leadership Team, and Chief Strategy Officer, shaping our Three-Year Plan and leading priority strategy projects that influence decisions at the highest level. This role offers the opportunity to work across every function, bring insight-led thinking to big business challenges, and contribute directly to the future of one of the UK's most recognised health and wellness brands. Location: Hybrid role based in London (Chandos Street), with the requirement to be in the office at least 2-3 days per week.
The Role
- Lead parts of the annual strategic planning cycle, partnering with the business leads and finance to shape strategic projects, business cases and long-term roadmaps.
- Drive alignment, decision-making and delivery across the Three-Year Plan (3YP).
- Lead priority strategy projects from scoping through to delivery.
- Identify relevant sources of data and insights, conduct analyses and develop clear recommendations.
- Identify and assess new potential markets, opportunities, services and product areas for H&B to explore.
- Prepare and facilitate cross-functional workshops and alignment sessions.
- Prepare high-quality materials for the Executive Team, Board and shareholders.
- Partner with functional teams to provide strategic support, constructively challenge and support decision-making.
The Person
- Experience in a top-tier consulting firm (e.g., Senior Associate, Consultant or Manager level) or equivalent in-house strategy team.
- Proven ability to design, structure and deliver strategy projects from initial analysis to final recommendation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience turning data and insights into clear, actionable decisions.
- Confident influencing senior stakeholders, ideally at Executive or Senior Leadership Team level.
- Experience preparing high-quality strategic documents or papers for senior audiences.
- Commercial awareness gained in sectors such as retail, e-commerce, consumer, or digital health (preferred, not essential).
- Excellent communication skills – able to distil complex information into simple, compelling narratives.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple priorities and shifting between long-term and short-term work.
