Senior Cloud Security Engineer

About the Role

We\’ve completed a major shift to a cloud-native architecture, using containers, Kubernetes, serverless, and event-driven services at scale. As our cloud footprint continues to grow, we\’re looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to help keep it secure by design. This is a hands‑on role focused on securing modern cloud platforms without slowing teams down. Our ambition is to build a scalable, automated cloud security posture that evolves as fast as our infrastructure — enabling innovation while keeping risk firmly under control.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls across AWS and Azure
• Secure cloud networking, identity, and data at scale
• Automate cloud security controls using infrastructure as code
• Assess cloud environments, identify risks, and drive remediation
• Respond to and support investigation of cloud security incidents
• Advise engineering teams on secure cloud architecture
• Continuously improve cloud security posture and standards

Key Requirements

• Experience as a Cloud Security Engineer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and threat models
• Hands‑on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP security services
• Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools
• Experience securing containers, Kubernetes, and serverless workloads
• Familiarity with cloud security tooling for monitoring and incident response
• A collaborative mindset and comfort working in fast‑paced environments
