As a Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will be an integral part of our regulatory affairs team, supporting regulatory compliance efforts and contributing to the successful marketing and ongoing compliance of our products. Reporting to the Regulatory Affairs Manager, you will assist in the development and execution of regulatory strategies, preparation of regulatory submissions, and maintenance of regulatory documentation. Your attention to detail and knowledge of regulatory requirements will ensure that our organisation remains in compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
The Role:
- Branded Onboarding
- Act as the main point of contact for the business for any queries relating to branded product onboarding.
- Attend progress calls and provide status updates with regards to regulatory requests and requirements.
- Reviewing branded product compliance during the onboarding process.
- Reviewing brand-led changes of existing branded products to ensure compliance and safety.
- Liaise with brands and suppliers to ensure regulatory queries relating to product onboarding are monitored and responses are accurately reviewed and acted upon.
- Supporting with system approvals of branded products and management of product throughout lifecycle.
- Support with ongoing system development to ensure continued improvement of onboarding process, and automation where possible.
- Complaints & Incident Management
- Supporting the customer service team in answering customer's regulatory related questions.
- Assisting in the investigation of customer complaints if Regulatory input is needed.
- Support with regulatory expertise in incident management cases as required.
- KPIs & Reporting
- Create and generate weekly reports on progress of regulatory reviews for branded onboarding.
- Support with the monitoring of non-compliances identified via automated reports.
- Lead on the required updates and change management relating to non-compliances identified on branded product description pages.
Location: This role can be based in either London or Nuneaton, operating on a hybrid working pattern - (minimal/occasional office presence required).
The Person:
- Relevant degree in a scientific discipline or a related field.
- Experience in regulatory affairs or a related field within the retail or FMCG sector.
- Regulatory affairs experience in UK, Ireland, and EU territories.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and guidelines relevant to the H&B's product portfolio.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to organise and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate regulatory information internally and externally.
- Knowledge of and ability to use relevant regulatory databases, software, and tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and build positive relationships with internal stakeholders.
