The Role
What You'll Be Doing
As a Project Support Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in supporting the delivery of multiple IT projects across our business on a 6-month FTC. Working closely with Project Managers, Delivery Teams, and a wide range of stakeholders, you'll help shape how we manage and govern projects—driving consistency, transparency, and high standards.
You'll be the central hub for project governance, reporting, and resource coordination, ensuring we meet deadlines, avoid bottlenecks, and maintain momentum across our technology transformation journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting project lifecycles by providing tools, templates, and consistent governance standards.
- Managing new project requests and assisting team members with queries or delivery needs.
- Coordinating and updating resource plans to support accurate scheduling and avoid conflicts.
- Producing regular reporting packs that give visibility on project performance and progress.
- Supporting project meetings through agendas, attendance, and clear documentation of minutes.
- Maintaining accurate project records and documentation across platforms like Jira, SharePoint, and Confluence.
- Helping to deliver small-scale projects or work packages with guidance from senior team members.
- Contributing to the development of processes that enhance how we work and deliver.
The Person
Essential:
- Experience in a project support or PMO (Project Management Office) role
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Comfortable working with structured processes and governance
- Highly organised, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable:
- Experience supporting IT or technical project teams
- Familiar with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and MS Teams
- Exposure to project management methodologies and tools
- Experience delivering small projects
- Knowledge of ITIL or Acceptance into Service (AIS) processes
