Overview
About the role: As a Performance Marketing Analyst in the Omnichannel Analytics team, you\’ll partner with the Digital Marketing and Trading teams to evaluate and optimise campaigns across channels including paid search, paid social, affiliates, display, and CRM. Your insights will help the team make smarter investment decisions, optimise channel mix, and improve customer acquisition and retention through performance media.
Responsibilities
- Analyse campaign performance across digital marketing channels, including search, social, display, affiliates, and CRM.
- Build dashboards in Metabase that track spend, conversion, ROAS, CAC, and customer lifetime value by channel and segment.
- Write clean, efficient SQL to extract and analyse large datasets across marketing, sales, traffic, and behavioural data.
- Provide insight into channel mix optimisation, performance forecasting, and audience targeting.
- Support budgeting and investment decisions through data-led scenario analysis and modelling.
- Collaborate with marketing managers to shape campaign briefs and define success metrics.
- Run deep dives into underperformance, creative impact, and cross-channel attribution.
- Partner with BI Developers, Product Analysts, and CRM teams to deliver end-to-end measurement solutions.
- Continue developing your skills through mentorship from senior analysts and structured learning via our capability framework.
- Work with a modern data stack, including Redshift, BigQuery, Matillion, and Retool.
Qualifications
- SQL proficiency: Comfortable querying and transforming data across performance, sales, and customer datasets.
- Marketing and channel awareness: Familiar with performance marketing KPIs such as ROAS, CAC, CTR, CPM, and attribution.
- Communication: Able to clearly explain performance trends and investment insights to marketing stakeholders.
- Delivery ownership: Manages own tasks independently and contributes to analytics delivery within marketing and commercial sprints.
- Visualisation: Builds actionable dashboards in Metabase to support ongoing campaign management.
- Collaborative mindset: Works well with teams across Digital Marketing, CRM, and Analytics.
- Education & Experience: You have a degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science, and 2-3 years of experience in a marketing or digital analytics role—preferably in ecommerce, retail media, or D2C.
