The Role
Join Holland & Barrett's fast-growing marketplace team as a Marketplace Regulatory Specialist and help shape the future of health and wellness commerce. You'll ensure that every third-party product meets UK and EU compliance standards, from labelling and ingredient restrictions to claims and technical requirements. Working closely with cross-functional teams—from Buying to Quality—you'll support seamless product onboarding, swiftly resolve any compliance issues, and contribute to refining our processes. This role offers the chance to learn the intricacies of food, supplement, and cosmetic regulations in a renowned retail environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in reviewing and processing documentation for new third-party products entering the H&B marketplace.
- Verify that each product complies with internal regulatory and technical standards before listing.
- Track and manage the onboarding pipeline alongside project managers to meet launch timelines.
- Monitor marketplace listings for adherence to UK and EU regulations (labelling, claims, ingredients, etc.).
- Identify, investigate, and help resolve compliance issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of non-compliance incidents and their resolutions.
- Collaborate with NPD, Quality, Technical, and Buying teams to align on product readiness and regulatory dependencies.
- Support creation and continuous improvement of regulatory checklists and onboarding workflows.
Location: This is a hybrid role based in either London or Nuneaton, with requirement to be in the office at least two days per week.
The Person
- A foundational understanding of product regulatory requirements, particularly in food, supplements, cosmetics, or wellness.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data-tracking tools (e.g., Excel, SharePoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams.
