We’re on the lookout for a passionate and skilled IT Security Engineer to join our growing cyber security team. About the Role: Help define and execute the IT security and governance strategy, supporting IT teams with expertise and services. Establish and operate endpoint security for offices, stores, and factory devices, ensuring continuous monitoring and maintaining a live inventory of assets. Manage and harden company systems, including Active Directory, Office 365, and Azure services. Contribute to the development of the Network Operation Centre (NOC), including incident response and risk mitigation. Conduct risk assessments, threat modelling, and attack trees for key organisational services and functions. Develop and maintain tailored security standards, guidelines, and reusable artefacts for IT teams. Collaborate with legal and privacy teams to support audit exercises, such as PCI-DSS and ISO 27001. Partner with the Security Operations Centre (SOC) to manage major incidents and ensure a unified security approach across the organisation. Key Requirements: Essential Requirements A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in IT security or systems, including at least 1+ years in system administration. In-depth expertise in Active Directory, Azure, Office 365, MDM (Mobile Device Management), and networks. Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as SCRUM, with proven project management skills to handle multiple security projects. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
