As a leading health and wellness retailer, we believe in supporting individuals not just in their health journeys, but in their careers too. Now, we are looking for a dynamic and inspiring Apprenticeship Trainer to join our growing team and help shape the future of our colleagues across the UK.

As an Apprenticeship Trainer, you will play a vital role in supporting and coaching our apprentices from day one all the way to their End Point Assessment. You will deliver high-quality, engaging, and tailored training using a blended learning approach - combining virtual delivery, in-person visits, group sessions and one-to-one coaching. You will be a mentor, a motivator and a guide, helping our apprentices thrive in their roles and develop long-lasting careers in retail and beyond.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage a caseload of apprentices across multiple locations.
  • Deliver inspirational training using a variety of methods - online, in-store, group and one-to-one.
  • Work closely with line managers and subject matter experts to create a seamless learning experience.
  • Provide timely feedback, track progress using our digital e-portfolio system, and support learners with their professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted, ESFA and internal standards, while keeping the learner experience at the heart of everything.

The Person

To be successful, we would like you to show us that you have:

  • Background in retail, ideally as a retail Store Manager or in a team management role.
  • Passion for coaching individuals and groups.
  • Effective time management and planning skills.
  • Resilience and adaptability under changing priorities.
  • Strong Communication & Stakeholder Engagement.
  • Competency with Microsoft Office and digital tools, and competency (or a willingness to learn) in the use of e-portfolio systems and learner management systems (LMS).

Bonus points if you have experience in apprenticeships or hold a teaching/assessor qualification - but if not, don’t worry. Full training will be provided for the right person!

We are passionate about helping every colleague thrive across all dimensions of wellbeing, and we are committed to having a diverse and inclusive workplace. In line with our EPIC values (Expertise, Pioneering, Inclusive, Caring), we embrace and actively celebrate all our colleagues' unique and varying experiences, backgrounds, identities, and cultures - I am me, we are H&B.
