We’re seeking a dynamic Senior Manager, Electrical (IT & LES) to join our Electrical, Automation, Safety and Nautical Chapter to help deliver innovative and sustainable cruising, based within our site office in Papenburg, Germany. There may also be the occasional requirement to travel to external production sites located mainly in Poland.

Role Overview

You will be a specialist and recognised expert within the Electrical discipline in interactions with key stakeholders (brands, corporate entities, consultants, and external bodies, etc.) and other CCS departments. Your time will be spent supervising the installation and integration of entertainment systems, professional audio/video systems, LED walls, theatre systems, broadcast, PA systems. You will inspect and verify onboard IT infrastructure (network systems, server rooms, structured cabling, Wi‑Fi, communication systems) as well as monitor the installation and commissioning of CCTV and electronic security systems. In addition to the above, your skills and expertise may be required to support the ship design, plan approval, commissioning, sea trials, and final acceptance processes, for newbuilds as well as post‑delivery and in‑service support as directed by project demand.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Deep understanding of technical plans, documents, drawings, procedures related to electrical automation, understanding of other disciplines is desired.
  • Provision of surveying, inspection and commissioning services within allocated discipline, including dry‑dock, sea trials and factory acceptance testing (FAT).
  • Responsible for environmental compliance during all construction and testing phases.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree in relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent professional qualification and experience.
  • Proven technical experience in the maritime industry such as shipbuilding, classification societies or ship operators, technical suppliers, or engineering firm in a senior position.
