The Role:
The role involves leading and coordinating the understanding and review of financial performance. It requires collaboration with business stakeholders and other members of the Finance Partnering and Reporting & Analytics team to provide clear guidance as well as financial and strategic analysis. You will support the creation of robust financial plans aligned with CUK strategies, helping to drive performance against these plans.
In this role, you will work closely with members of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and their teams to establish strong relationships and gain a comprehensive understanding of their business areas. This will enable you to act as a sounding board, providing proactive financial guidance to drive profitability, and offering forward-looking perspectives and constructive challenge. Additionally, you will advise on business cases for investments, opportunities, and operational changes. You will play a pivotal role in reviewing key initiatives to ensure they yield the expected benefits and optimal results.
Your excellent analysis and communication skills will enable you to interpret financial information in a way that provides clear insight into our operational performance, supporting decision-making. Through your direct reports, you will lead coordination across various business areas to produce and validate forecasts and plans, ensuring the integrity of data and its proper use within financial projections.
As part of an ongoing focus on continual improvement, you will help identify opportunities to enhance our processes and contribute to improving the functionality of financial planning and reporting systems (EOS, Tableau, Power BI) to provide better insights. Your involvement will also extend to supporting finance and business change projects as required, while managing and developing your direct reports to ensure their growth and success.
Positioned within our internal structure from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President), this role is classified as a CUK 6. Offered as a full-time position, on a permanent basis, we provide hybrid work options from our head office in Southampton including up to two days from home.

- Experience of a Finance business partnering / strategic planning role

- Ability to work unsupervised and deliver high quality work to tight deadlines
- Experienced in Microsoft Office – Oracle experience desirable
