We have seasonal opportunities to join our team. We are seeking qualified and experienced bus drivers who love to work in a customer focused setting. You will form part of the frontline driving team as a bus driver out on the road. You’ll work on your own initiative and take ownership of your bus on its travels, looking after passenger safety and providing a great customer experience.

This is a great opportunity to be part of a team running a fantastic seaside shuttle bus operation at Wells-Next-The-Sea. The shuttle bus operation starts for Easter and runs to the end of October.

We have two exciting vehicles. The Sigma 7, a state-of-the-art fully electric bus, is the first of its kind in the UK. This bus forms the backbone of the operation. On the busiest days of the summer, the Sigma will be joined by a real classic. Our 1951 Leyland Tiger has a stunning history working across the Channel Islands, Edinburgh and a return to Jersey before we imported it in 2021. It is a one of a kind with its open top and optional canvas roof.

We are looking for confident communicators that get on well with people. You must be patient, a safe driver, reliable and calm under pressure. This role really would suit a bus enthusiast as our Tiger bus is a real gem and this presents a rare opportunity to be involved in a vehicle with a lovely back story. You must hold a Certificate of Professional Conduct and PSV driving licence.

Pay rate: £16.45 per hour pending 2026 pay review. Various shifts available throughout the operational season.
