Responsibilities
- Support with routines such as preparing meals, promoting healthy activities, attending appointments.
- Safeguarding the wellbeing of our young people.
- Promoting positive outcomes by ensuring care plans are adhered to.
- Encourage independence and life-skills development.
- Maintaining cleaning standards within the home by carrying out daily tasks.
- Ensuring daily reports are accurately completed.
- Assess and respond to risks, recording concerns accurately.
- Implement behaviour support plans and de-escalation strategies.
- Work as part of a team, modelling professional boundaries and consistent child-centred practice.
- Multi-agency working with social workers, schools, health professionals, and families.
- Remain calm under pressure and respond confidently to challenging behaviour.
- Communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Hold, or are working towards, a Level 2 Diploma in Children's Residential Care (desirable).
- Are available for full-time hours.
- Bring previous experience or transferable skills.
- Hold a driving licence (advantageous but not essential).
