The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.

We are seeking a Waking Night Support officer to work 3 nights a week with one of our Young People within our Ofsted registered solo Children's Residential Service in Southport. The hours for this role are 10pm - 8am.

Duties include:

  • Support a young person who may wake and require reassurance, and/or help regulating their emotions.
  • Routine nightly checks on the young person, monitoring their safety and wellbeing.
  • Completing relevant logs and records to a high standard.
  • Maintain a safe environment and follow safeguarding procedures at all times.
  • Undertake domestic tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and preparing the home for the following day.

Requirements:

  • Experience in responding to challenging behaviour; previous experience working with children and young people is desired but not essential.
  • Work collaboratively with day staff, ensuring smooth and consistent handover.
  • Be reliable, consistent, and able to follow safeguarding procedures.
  • Level 3 diploma is advantageous; however, we will provide full training for the right candidate.
  • UK valid driving license is also advantageous, but not essential.
