We require a resilient Team Leader / Senior Support Worker in our solo home. This is a solo service, the ideal candidate will work alongside our management team and MUST hold a Level 3 Diploma in Children Residential Services, as well as a minimum of 18 months experience working in a Children's Ofsted Residential setting. A driving licence is advantageous, but not essential. Level 4 Diploma in Children’s Residential Services must be enrolled onto once employment has begun, if not working towards.
This job requires experience in Children’s Residential Care. This is a full-time job role, the shift pattern is 2 shifts on, then 3 shifts off. We offer competitive rates of pay, and our sleep-in rate is £60 per night!
Pay Structure:
- Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Residential - £14.50 per hour.
- Level 4 Diploma - £15.00 per hour.
Duties include:
- Taking point on shift and leading by example.
- Delegating duties fairly amongst staff.
- Training up new members of staff.
- Participating in on-call rota and taking out of hours calls when required.
- Ensuring daily reports, health and safety checks and care plans are completed and up to date.
- Assisting with the support and ensuring the Child or Young Person's needs are always met.
- Working in partnership with Deputy Manager.
- Assisting with supervisions and appraisals.
