We require a resilient Team Leader / Senior Support worker in our solo hoe. This is Solo service, the ideal candidate will work alongside our management team and MUST hold a Level 3 Diploma in Children Residential Services , as well as a minimum of 18 months, experience working in a Children\’s Ofsted Residential setting. A driving licence in advantageous, but not essential. Level 4 Diploma in Children`s Residential Services must be enrolled onto once employment has began, if not working towards.

NB – This job requires experience in Children\’s Residential Care.

This is a Full-time job role , the shift pattern is 2 shift on, then 3 shifts off. We offer competitive rates of pay, and our sleep in rates is Β£60 per night!

Pay Structure

  • Level 3 Diploma in Children`s Residential – Β£14.50 per hour.
  • Level 4 Diploma – Β£15.00 per hour.

Duties include

  • Taking point on shift and leading by example.
  • Delegating duties fairly amongst staff.
  • Training up new members of staff.
  • Participating in on-call rota and taking out of hours calls when required.
  • Ensuring daily reports, health and safety checks and care plans are completed and up to date.
  • Assisting with the support and ensuring the Child or Young Person\’s needs are always met.
  • Working in partnership with Deputy Manager.
  • Assisting with supervisions and appraisals.
