Assistant Housekeeping Manager

The Opportunity

Being one of our Assistant housekeeping managers you will set the bar in housekeeping management. The housekeeping department plays a pivotal part in the success of our hotels, and you will lead, assist and inspire your dedicated team of housekeepers in making sure all of the hotel\’s rooms, public areas, conference rooms, lounges, and bars are of a high standard of cleanliness.

This role will be about developing your team to continue delivering exceptional standards at the hotel. Identifying areas to improve and providing in-the-moment feedback, creating a passionate and motivating culture within the team.

Ideal Candidate

• You will be a hospitality professional passionate about cleanliness and delivering exceptional levels of service
• You will be a an Assistant Housekeeping Manager or a senior housekeeping supervisorwhich was ideally gained within a large hotel
• Ability to produce and analyse reports to drive the performance of the department
• Highly motivated and pro-active; acting with professionalism and positivity in all interactions
• Passionate about the hospitality industry
• Commercial acumen and industry knowledge
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to develop and deliver effective training to maintain consistent service standards
• Experienced user of Opera, and Microsoft Office preferred
