The role

Our Line Chefs are responsible for producing all menu items in an efficient and consistent manner. This role reports directly to the Kitchen Manager and is part of a team based from our attractive hotel in NR6 6JA.

Line Chef duties include:

  • Cooking food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
  • Facilitating special requests from guests if received.
  • Managing wastage through correct product measurement.
  • Ensuring you are working towards all kitchen SOPs at all times.
  • Setting up and stocking food items and other necessary supplies.

Beyond that, you\\\’ll represent our company values and culture, ensuring that service excellence remains our top priority.

What you’ll bring to the team

An ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures. Demonstrable cooking experience including experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook or Prep Cook. Familiarity with industry best practices and Basic Food Safety are essential.
