Responsibilities:
As a Conference and Events Executive, your responsibilities will include:
- Handling conference and events sales enquiries in a timely and professional manner, following established procedures and the hotel's selling strategy.
- Taking a pro active lead in all Event enquiries, including Weddings.
- Ensuring effective communication in providing detailed information for all bookings to the operations team to ensure successful event delivery.
- Conducting thorough show rounds of the hotel for potential and existing clients.
- Managing event lead portals with a prompt and pro active approach.
- Participating in hotel sales activity including sales calls, client entertaining and supporting with hosting FAM trips.
- Maximizing revenue opportunities and supporting further sales activities within the hotel, finding innovative ways to increase sales opportunities through proactive selling and upselling opportunities.
- Identifying and collecting sales leads, as well as growing and developing existing customer relationships through regular contact.
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience in a hotel sales or meetings and events role.
- Knowledge of the Manchester market.
- Demonstrated success in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent decision-making ability and a high degree of integrity.
