As a Sous Chef at Holiday Inn Manchester City Centre, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Supporting the Head Chef with daily operations in your kitchen.
  • Supporting your brigade in recreating meals developed by our Group Executive Chef, Head Chef and yourself.
  • Ensuring your brigade successfully creates a range of specials, offering your expertise, leading, training and developing your brigade.
  • Consistently finding innovative ways to drive financial performance without compromising on quality.
  • Monitoring portion and waste control in addition to labour productivity to maintain profit margins.
  • Ensuring you and your team deliver high standards of food and meet health and safety regulations.
