Key Responsibilities:

  • Corporate Champion : Lead the corporate rooms strategy, conducting monthly and quarterly reviews with key stakeholders to stay ahead of the game.
  • Networking Guru: Implement a robust networking plan to generate direct corporate leads and elevate the hotel's market profile.
  • Team Up for Success: Collaborate with the Hotel General Manager and LGH Head of Sales to smash annual sales targets and exceed the hotel sales budget.
  • Lead Generator: Drive new business leads and opportunities across key market segments, leveraging all available sales tools.
  • Strategic Visionary: Craft and implement a cutting-edge hotel sales and revenue strategy that drives growth and profitability.
  • Quarterly Planner: Define, deliver, and review the quarterly hotel commercial plan, using insights to shape future strategies.
  • Pipeline Pioneer: Identify and address pipeline gaps by segment, ensuring we consistently hit our sales targets.
  • Sales Dynamo: Drive proactive sales activities and customer engagement to ensure a consistent and thriving sales pipeline.
  • Industry Innovator : Lead industry sector working parties to enhance sales performance and generate new business opportunities.
  • Client Whisperer: Deliver exceptional sales service, meeting and exceeding client expectations with bespoke proposals and site visits.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Sales Superstar : 4+ years in a proactive sales management/leadership role within the hotel industry.
  • Financial Guru: Strong financial analysis and budget compilation skills.
  • Local Expert: Local market experience within regional hotel locations.
  • Sales Achiever : Demonstrated success in direct sales and new business development.
  • Franchise Specialist: Experience in proactive sales within a franchise portfolio and/or IHG.
  • Market Developer: Corporate, Leisure, and MICE market sales development experience.
