Holiday Inn London – Kensington High Street is a large, modern hotel located in the heart of Kensington, just a minute’s walk from High Street Kensington Underground Station. The property offers 706 contemporary guestrooms and 13 flexible meeting rooms that can host up to 300 guests, making it suitable for both corporate and leisure stays. Guests can enjoy a Starbucks coffee lounge, the Boulevard restaurant, a cocktail bar, and a tranquil secret garden. The on-site Health Club features an 18-metre swimming pool, fully equipped gym, steam room, sauna, Jacuzzi, and Day Spa, providing a full range of wellness facilities for guests and members.

As a Corporate Sales Manager, you will manage and grow corporate accounts and develop new business opportunities to drive room nights, meetings, and events revenue. Working on-site full time in London, you will proactively research and approach target companies, prepare tailored proposals, conduct site visits, and negotiate rates and contracts in line with hotel strategy. You will maintain regular contact with corporate clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities across rooms, meetings, and ancillary services.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Managing the corporate sales pipeline
  • Producing accurate forecasts and reports
  • Collaborating closely with Revenue, Reservations, and Operations teams
  • Representing the hotel at sales calls, trade shows, and networking events
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to refine sales tactics
  • Supporting the development of the overall corporate sales plan

Qualifications:

  • Strong corporate sales experience within hospitality or a related service industry, with a proven record of achieving revenue targets
  • Demonstrated ability in account management, building long-term client relationships, understanding client needs, and growing account value
  • Proficiency in lead generation and business development, including prospecting, networking, and converting leads into contracted business
  • Experience in sales operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, reporting, and effective use of CRM or sales systems
  • Commitment to excellent customer service, ensuring professional communication, timely follow-up, and high standards of client care
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor proposals to different corporate segments
  • Ability to work on-site, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional hotel teams
  • Previous experience in a hotel corporate sales or meetings and events sales role is highly desirable; familiarity with London corporate markets is an advantage
