This role is all about keeping the kitchen running smoothly and supporting the team to deliver great food experiences for our guests. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, you’ll play a vital role behind the scenes, ensuring everything is clean, organised and ready for service.
With our Chef Development Programme and Chef Academy, you will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and progress towards a chef role should you wish.
About the Role- You’ll be at the heart of the kitchen operation, supporting the team to deliver a smooth and efficient service.
- Supporting the kitchen team in delivering a positive and memorable dining experience for guests.
- Ensuring all crockery, cutlery, pots and pans are cleaned to the required standard.
- Supporting with basic food preparation when required during busy service periods.
- Supporting chefs by collecting ingredients, equipment or materials as needed.
- Receiving deliveries and ensuring all items are stored safely, correctly and in an organised way.
- Maintaining storage areas so that ingredients and materials are easy to access.
- Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and ready for service, including end‑of‑day cleaning.
- Removing waste promptly.
- Using cleaning materials and equipment safely and responsibly.
- Following all health, safety and food hygiene standards at all times.
