The role Our Line Chefs are responsible for producing all menu items in an efficient and consistent manner. This role reports directly to the Kitchen Manager and is part of a team based from our attractive hotel in Haydock M6J23 (WA12 0JG).

Line Chef duties include:

  • Cooking food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
  • Facilitating special requests from guests if received.
  • Managing wastage through correct product measurement.
  • Ensuring you are working towards all kitchen SOPs at all times.
  • Setting up and stocking food items and other necessary supplies.

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • An ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
  • Demonstrable cooking experience including experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook or Prep Cook.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices and Basic Food Safety are essential.
