The role of Kitchen Assistant focuses on supporting the kitchen team in creating positively memorable dining experiences for our guests. This role reports to the Kitchen Manager.
Kitchen Assistant duties include:
- Basic Food Preparation: Supporting with basic food prep when the kitchen is extremely busy.
- Dishwashing: Hand washing or loading dishes into the dishwasher, including pots, pans, and cutlery.
- Delivery Organisation: Responsible for receiving deliveries and ensuring they are organised once in the kitchen.
- Storage Management: Organising storage so that all ingredients are easily accessible.
- Waste Removal: Emptying all waste bins and ensuring waste is disposed of promptly.
- Material Collection: Supporting Chefs by collecting materials or ingredients as needed.
