The role involves supporting the kitchen team in creating positively memorable dining experiences for our guests. This role reports to the Kitchen Manager.
Kitchen Assistant duties include:
- Basic Food Preparation: Supporting with basic food prep when the kitchen is extremely busy.
- Dishwashing: Hand washing or loading dishes into the dishwasher.
- Delivery Organisation: Responsible for receiving deliveries and ensuring they are organised in the kitchen.
- Storage Management: Organising storage so that all ingredients are easily accessible.
- Waste Removal: Emptying all waste bins and ensuring waste is disposed of promptly.
- Material Collection: Supporting Chefs by collecting materials or ingredients as needed.
Beyond that, you'll represent our company values and culture, ensuring that service excellence remains our top priority. Other businesses may call this role Kitchen Porter.
