A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SALES MANAGER AT OUR HOTEL

What you\’ll be doing..

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targetsBuild and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients, acting as a primary contact for all group, LNR & KNR accountsIdentify new business opportunities through networking, partnerships, positioning the hotel as a preferred hotel in the marketAttend central sales meetings and commercial reviewsManage and negotiate rates with new and existing clientsAnalyse data to identify trends and follow up on any action neededPrepare detailed sales reports and provide support to General Manager on strategic decision-makingGenerate new leadsManage the hotels social media

What We Need from You:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in sales within the hospitality sector, with a proven record of achieving sales targets and managing client relationships effectively
  • A keen interest in social media
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and persuasive approach
  • In-depth understanding of sales principles and strategies, with experience in strategic planning, forecasting, and performance analysis
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, with the ability to generate and analyse sales data from other systems
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with a keen eye for detail to ensure mutually beneficial agreements
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work outside of regular hours, including evenings and weekends, and attend off-site meetings or events as required
  • A positive, proactive approach with the ability to identify and act on new opportunities in line with hotel objectives
