A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A KITCHEN TEAM MEMBER AT OUR HOTEL
What you'll be doing:
- Keep the kitchen running smoothly by cleaning and organising equipment, utensils, and workspaces.
- Running breakfast shifts.
- Wash and sanitise pots, pans, dishes, and other kitchen tools, making sure everything is ready for the next dish.
- Help with food prep tasks, like peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients, to support the chefs during busy shifts.
- Manage waste by disposing of rubbish, recycling, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
- Keep storage areas stocked, organised, and clean, ensuring supplies are easy to find and ready to use.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, helping to keep the kitchen stocked and organised.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards rigorously, contributing to a safe and spotless kitchen.
