Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining and catering settings. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food service while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the cooking process.
  • Assist in menu planning and contribute innovative ideas for new dishes.
  • Handle food items safely, ensuring proper storage and handling procedures are followed.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
  • Participate in catering events as required, providing exceptional service to guests.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food industry.
  • Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Experience in fine dining or catering environments is preferred.
  • Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus.
  • Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, and serving techniques.
  • Excellent knife skills and understanding of food safety regulations.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
