As Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will supervise the day-to-day operation of the Food & Beverage operation, whether this be breakfast, lunch, or dinner, in our Bar, Restaurant, or Meeting & Events rooms. What will your key responsibilities and duties be:
- Create a warm welcome to everyone and set the tone for each of our guests' experience.
- Supervise the team's everyday activities, plan and assign work to ensure the shift runs smoothly.
- Work with the team to present each meal that is a feast for the eyes and a treat for the taste buds.
- Prepare and serve drinks to our high standards, whilst taking into consideration each of our guests' requirements.
- Develop your team to ensure that our guests receive great service as part of our conference and events function, either by food service or room set up.
- Deal with all payment transactions (cash, card, and room charging) in the correct manner according to company guidelines.
- Clear down and set up our facilities as required.
- Act as a Champion for any new Food & Beverage policies, procedures, or systems.
- Mentor and act as a point of support for all our Food & Beverage Team Members & Trainees.
What we are looking for:
- Previous hotel experience as a Food & Beverage Supervisor or a strong Food & Beverage Team Member, ideally from a branded hotel background.
- Experience in offering exceptional customer service.
- A good knowledge of Food Safety policies and regulations.
- Understanding the needs of supervising a Team on a daily basis.
- Proactive, composed, enthusiastic, approachable, able to build strong rapport with guests and other Team Members.
- Excellent communication skills in all aspects; good organisational and administrative skills with an eye for detail.
- Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
