A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A GUEST SERVICES ROOM ATTENDANT AT THE HOLIDAY INN BLACKPOOL
What you'll be doing...
- Keep guest rooms and public areas spotless and welcoming, creating a comfortable space guests love to return to
- Clean, dust, vacuum, and polish with an eye for detail, making sure every room is guest-ready
- Change linens, make beds, and refresh towels, keeping everything looking fresh and inviting
- Replenish in-room amenities, from toiletries to tea and coffee, ensuring guests have everything they need
- Report any maintenance issues or missing items promptly to keep rooms in top shape
- Follow health, safety, and cleanliness standards, helping maintain a safe environment for guests and team members
- Support with special requests, like setting up extra beds or delivering extra amenities, going the extra mile to make each stay memorable
- Work closely with other departments, especially the front desk and maintenance, to deliver a seamless guest experience

- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high cleanliness standards
- A positive, can-do attitude, with a passion for creating a welcoming environment
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with other team members and respond to guest needs
