Join our kitchen team to showcase your creativity, grow your skills and help deliver outstanding dining experiences for our guests. Other businesses may call this role Commis Chef, Chef de Partie, Prep Cook or Line Cook. This role reports to the Kitchen Manager.
What you'll do:
- Cook and present dishes to recipe standards, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Support the creation of daily specials to showcase your skills and excite our guests.
- Keep food prep areas stocked, clean, and ready throughout service.
- Follow food safety standards and help minimise waste.
- Work with your team and Kitchen Manager to deliver excellent guest experiences.
What we're looking for:
- Previous cooking experience (restaurant, hotel, pub or similar) or a willingness to learn by joining our Chef Academy and completing a funded Level 2 Commis Chef qualification.
- Knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
- Basic Food Safety certification (or willingness to complete training).
- A passion for great food and creating memorable guest experiences.
- A positive attitude, commitment to teamwork and desire to learn.
