We have an exciting opportunity for a confident individual with a passion for travel. Holiday Hamster is looking for an experienced Travel Consultant to add to their growing team of award-winning experts. The successful candidate will be provided with full support from our team to develop their skills and product knowledge.
As a Travel Consultant at Holiday Hamster, you’ll take the time to truly understand each customer, uncover what matters most to them, and create tailor-made holidays that hit the mark. We look after our clients from the moment they first get in touch to long after they’ve returned home - they’re never just a number to us.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Providing friendly, professional service in person, over the phone or by email, building trust and genuine relationships with every customer.
- Asking the right questions to understand their needs and preferences, and matching them to the most suitable holidays from our wide range of partners.
- Creating and selling bespoke travel packages with clear, accurate, and visually appealing quotes.
- Managing each booking from start to finish, offering personal support before, during and after the holiday.
- Taking part in regular training, including overseas trips, to keep your knowledge up to date and share first-hand insights with customers.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Minimum of 2 Years of Travel Agent experience or a similar role.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent listener.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to use your own initiative.
- Work as part of a team.
- Good Florida product knowledge.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- GCSE English.
- GCSE Maths.
TRAINING:
Opportunity to increase product knowledge through various in-house and online training courses.

- Take an interest in travel and cultures with a willingness to learn.
PROSPECTS:
Continued support for all future personal or professional development with the option to progress to Senior Travel Consultant and/or specialise in a desired field of travel within the company.

- Working Week: 30 hours, spread over four days, from Tuesday to Saturday.
