About the Role

This is a proactive leadership position suited to someone with a strong sense of pride, attention to detail, and commitment to guest satisfaction. You’ll coordinate park presentation, touring facilities, and our on-park accommodation — all while delivering a warm welcome to guests and owners alike.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the warden team in maintaining exceptional cleanliness and park standards.
  • Oversee the preparation and turnaround of hire fleet units, touring pitches, and sales accommodation.
  • Support out-of-hours callouts, site checks, and on-call duties as required.
  • Provide excellent guest service — acting as a visible, welcoming presence around the park.
  • Handle health and safety compliance including COSHH, risk assessments, and PPE protocols.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless check-ins, maintenance, and owner satisfaction.
  • Undertake various maintenance, groundwork, and site presentation tasks.
  • Report incidents, guest concerns, and any hazards promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain cleanliness of external areas, play parks, and communal facilities.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in holiday park or hospitality maintenance/cleaning roles.
  • Proven ability to lead a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Good understanding of health & safety and park standards.
  • Full driving licence required.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and on-call duties as part of a rota.

Why Join Holgates?

  • Work in a picturesque location as part of an award-winning, family-run business.
  • Free use of leisure club and facilities for you and immediate family.
  • Staff discount on holidays and food & beverage.
  • Company pension and uniform provided.
  • Be part of a passionate, friendly and supportive team.

If you’re ready to lead with pride, make a difference in daily park operations, and be part of a welcoming team, we’d love to hear from you. Submit your CV with a short cover note to start your journey with Holgates.
