We’re Recruiting Lifeguards & Leisure Club Assistants – Holgates Holiday Parks. Be part of an award-winning team delivering 5-star holiday experiences in a stunning leisure environment. We’re looking for friendly, reliable, and safety-focused Lifeguards to join our Leisure Club team for the 2026 summer season. If you enjoy working with people, take pride in high standards, and thrive in an active environment, this could be the perfect role for you.
Location: Silverdale Holiday Park, on the Lancashire/Cumbria border between Carnforth and Milnthorpe. Easy access to Lancaster, Kendal, and the Lake District.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and secure environment for all guests using the leisure facilities
- Ensure all poolside rules and safety procedures are followed
- Respond to incidents and provide first aid when required (including lifesaving assistance in rare situations)
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the leisure club
- Carry out regular water quality testing for pool and spa areas
- Assist with routine maintenance and scheduled cleaning programmes
- Deliver friendly, professional customer service at all times
Essential Qualifications:
- A valid Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ or equivalent)
- A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a similar role
