We’re a family-run business with a 70-year legacy of delivering 5-star holidays, and we’re looking for a warm, customer-focused Holiday Sales Advisor / Receptionist to be the friendly face our guests remember.

About The Role
As part of the front-of-house team, you\’ll be a key point of contact for our guests and holiday homeowners. From taking bookings and handling enquiries to offering upgrades and managing check-ins, you’ll deliver excellent customer service while keeping our reception operations running smoothly.
This is a varied and fast-paced role suited to someone who thrives in a guest-facing position, enjoys problem-solving and is passionate about creating memorable holiday experiences.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Be a welcoming first point of contact for all customers, ensuring a 5-star experience
- Manage bookings, amendments, and enquiries using our internal systems
- Answer calls and emails efficiently and professionally
- Support outbound sales, offering extras, upgrades, and extended stays
- Liaise with housekeeping and park teams to ensure seamless check-ins and turnarounds
- Handle gym memberships, swimming, bowling and party bookings
- Process owner gas orders, seasonal touring payments and electricity billing
- Assist with admin tasks, including owner communications and repair tracking
- Ensure accuracy with daily open/close checklists and cash handling
- Represent the Holgates brand with confidence, warmth and integrity
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Previous experience in a customer service or sales role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident using booking software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Ability to prioritise tasks and remain organised under pressure
- Friendly, helpful and approachable nature
- A genuine desire to grow your career in the leisure and tourism industry
Desirable
- Previous experience in holiday parks, leisure, hospitality or tourism
- Familiarity with property or holiday sales and booking platforms
