Holes Lane Medical Centre is a progressive, innovative, adaptive, and high achieving training practice established in Woolston, Warrington. We have 2 branches located within easy reach of the M62 and M6 motorways that serve a population of 10,200 patients. We continually strive to respond to the community's needs and encourage the growth and development of all our staff. We believe that effective teamwork, collaboration, and continual improvement deliver strategies that keep the practice resilient.
In April 2024, we introduced My Care, a new approach in the management of care for patients with long-term conditions. It is collaborative, empowering the patient to have a quality of life by addressing their needs holistically and promoting shared decision making with the support of the clinician. Feedback from patients and staff has been very good. Continual nurse training will be offered to keep this initiative a success.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organised Patient Advisor/Receptionist to join our front-of-house team working 20 hours per week. You will be the first point of contact for patients, providing a warm welcome and delivering excellent customer service both in person and over the phone. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greet and assist patients in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Schedule appointments and manage bookings.
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient queries.
- Update and maintain accurate patient records.
- Support administrative tasks and always ensure confidentiality.
