Our client is a leading manufacturer and materials stockholder with several sites in the UK. Successfully operating for over 30 years, with a sizeable, skilled and dedicated workforce, they have an enviable reputation within the industry. Alongside manufacturing components with state of the art machinery, they also stock a high volume of product, selling and delivering to a vast array of clients nationwide with their fleet of 28 vehicles. Due to continued growth, a Logistics Co-ordinator is required to manage the manifest of all product of various types and sizes to create the most efficient results for delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule the loading of orders for maximum efficiency
- Coordinate with drivers, warehouse teams, and clients to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor deliveries and resolve any issues quickly and effectively
- Maintain compliance with transport regulations and company policies
- Analyse performance data to identify improvements and cost savings
