Our client is a very successful, unique, international engineering company who manufacture bespoke machinery for a large portfolio of customers throughout the UK. The operation in Thetford employs 80 dedicated and loyal staff and the company is riding high at the moment with an annual turnover of over 20 million pounds per year. Due to continued growth a Fitter is required to join the excellent Fitter team of 5 to work on a variety of bespoke projects producing interesting and exciting machines. Working from engineering drawings the role is varied suiting a practical, capable all-rounder with the following skills:
- MIG welding mild steel
- Plasma cutting
- Grinding
- MAG drilling
- Air Chiselling
- Hand Drills
- Working from drawings
- Understanding of hydraulics
- Fabrication of parts
Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.00pm
Salary to suit experience
