A Purchasing Assistant is required to join the supply chain team ensuring materials, goods, and services are procured efficiently and cost-effectively to meet business requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase orders
- Supplier liaison
- Accurate record keeping
- Stock & inventory management
- Work closely with production, stores, engineering and accounts
- Soure alternative suppliers
We are looking for someone in a purchasing role from a manufacturing and or engineering environment with knowledge of ERP and MRP systems.
- Monday to Friday - 0830 to 1700, 37.5 hours per week
