Overview
Our client is a very successful international food related manufacturer with over 200 factories in Europe and China. The smaller UK side of the business in Holt is exceptionally busy and employs a friendly and loyal team of around 15 where product is manufactured and distributed from their excellent manufacturing facility. The company has been \’flying high\’ in the last few years, with substantial year on year growth and is now investing considerable sums into new equipment to further improve their process and due to continued success requires a further Production and Warehouse Operative.
Responsibilities
- Operation of plant equipment to optimum level of performance
- Monitoring of the production process.
- Maintain production area to the required level of hygiene standard
- FLT operations to move stock between production and warehouse, and loading of vehicles.
- Ensuring that quality standards are achieved and up to date.
- Picking of stock to orders for dispatch.
- Use of site stock control label and scanning PDA system.
- Completion of records, reporting maintenance and safety issues.
Qualifications and profile
We are looking for motivated individuals with experience of a factory environment within production/warehousing.
Forklift Truck License an advantage, but not essential as training will be given
