Our client is a very successful international food related manufacturer with over 200 factories in Europe and China, employing thousands of people worldwide. The smaller UK side of the business in Holt is exceptionally busy and employs a friendly and loyal team where product is manufactured and distributed from their excellent manufacturing facility. The company has been 'flying high' in the last few years, with substantial year on year growth and has invested considerable sums into new equipment to further improve their processes. Due to continued growth a Production Shift Supervisor is required to lead, support and supervise a small team of 3-5 people.
Key tasks required in this role are:
- To ensure all duties associated with the manufacturing of products are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Complete warehouse duties associated with the intake, storage and despatch of products.
- Responsibility for quality management system.
- Induction, support, training and supervision of staff.
- Responsible for various duties within the company Health and Safety policy.
We are looking for an excellent people manager from a manufacturing background, with a good understanding of production and warehouse processes. A positive, proactive, βcan doβ attitude with an understanding of mechanical equipment would be ideal.
